Alexa and Niara traveled to Boston, MA to present at the 2023 ACS Northeast Regional Meeting. Alexa and Niara both presented talks titled “Insects Eggs-press Unique Chemical Fingerprints: Applying Direct Analysis in Real Time - High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry to Aid in the Species Identification of Necrophagous Insects for Post-mortem Interval Determination” and “What Soiled the Oil? An Azo Reduction and Mass Spectrometry-based Approach for the Efficient Detection of Sudan Dyes I-IV in Red Palm Oil”, respectively.
